Hi all! I'm new to the forum, and having just bought a car with a supercharger, I thought it would be a good idea to sign up as I've never owned a car with a supercharger before.
The car I have is a VW Golf 2.8 V6 with a Vortech Supercharger V9 conversion.

I am having a few minor (I hope!) issues and was wondering if they should be concerning me.
Oil appears to be coming out of the supercharger inlet, then dropping down the intake and covering the MAF sensor, which the causes it to run badly. A quick clean gets it running fine again.
After each run, a small pool of oil appears under the car:

and I can see oil on the inlet:

I was under the impression that a small amount of oil was usual - is this a 'small amount'? Or should I be concerned? If it is an acceptable amount, is it worth looking into re-routing the inlet pipework so the MAF is level with or higher than the supercharger, or will it still get covered anyway?
Also, any tips on supercharger care that will extend its life or reduce issues? Other than frequent oil changes, belt checks, allowing the engine to warm up and cool down properly?
Thanks in advance guys!
