Supercharger and Smog Pump Removal Question?

I have an 87 Iroc with a TPI 383 stroker with an SN93 Paxton supercharger. If I wanted to remove the smog pump and A.I.R. pipes and eventually the cat, would it hurt my supercharger?

Does any of this affect the supercharger at all?

That's what I figured, just wanted to make sure. If I cut the belt for the smog pump, will it clog up my cat? Over the winter I am going to take the AIR system off, but for now I am just going to cut the belt for the pump.

why bother removing all of the items ?? cosmetics?
does your state have emissions inspections?
it is a PIA to deal with those guys that want all of the factory emission controls in place...
maybe look into high flow CAT'S that will not hurt exhaust flow and keep the car in emission compliance.

Hey Carguy455, the ball driven Paxton superchargers are recommended for only up to 360 cu-in engines. How well is the SN93 working with your 383 cubes? If you have a boost gauge what amount of boost are you getting? - Just curious.
