    130 amp alt.?

    I am going to upgrade to a 3g 130 amp alternator are ther any clearence issues? Iam not running a smog pump delete kit just a short belt.
    88 Gt Vortech S trim 8 rib,Trickflow Track Heat Heads,Scorpion 1.6 rockers,cobra intake,Mac 70mm t.b.,pro m 80mm mass air ,30 lb injectors,Crane Hi 8 ign.,World class T-5,King cobra clutch,Fms 3.55 gears.Fms aluminum d.s.,Pro 5.0 shifter BBk subframes,Tfs phenolic 1 inch spacer,Frp 3 core radiator ,Cervini Stalker kit ,Cervini 4 cowl hood,chrome 4 lug Cobra r's,Walbro 255 lph pump ,T rex fuel pump,Ati fmu. 449.3 rhp @ 5500 rpms on a mustang dyno still running pig rich!!!

    just upgraded to 130amp alt not charging please help!
    I just installed the 3g 130 amp alternator i got from pa perf. i followed the directions exactly as laid out i went with there premium long wire kit trimmed the 3 wires off the large plug connected the stator wire to the white wire with the black stripe.I think there are 2 possibilities one i got a defective alt.i doubt it but its possible i guess or my alternator is not getting energized .I am not sure wich wire in the small harness does that all replies will be greatly appreciated by the way i put a connector ring on the black/orange wire and connected those with the new 4 g power wire to the alt post the way i understood is you could either cap them off or connect them no difference if you run a 4g wire
