    Vr4 info

    How much hp does a vr4 support we currently have a upgraded sn93 from craig at paradise wheels on my wifes 91 z28 350 tpi we love it. I just got done building her a 89 iroc with a 383 fully forged stroker I just bought another sn93 kit I take to Craig he said he is making vr4 kits again I'd love to have this one converted to a vr4 will it support a 383 stroker how much boost will it make I also have the paxton oil cooler to keep it cooler any help would be great thanks

    I read they have made up to 600hp but every combo will be a little different. The downside is they will make a ton of heat.

    Will it support a 383 tho? And if it makes 500 hp I'd be very happy.

    Is the vr4 capable of doing it with the right setup yes. Will it do it on yours I have know idea.
    What's the build. TPI 383?

    Ours is a 383 fully forged stroker,113 d port Corvette aluminum heads ported polished lpe219 cam first performance intake 36 lb injectors edelbrock headers into a 4.5 inch mufflex exhaust this is all controlled by a holley hp efi system.

    Car is running low 12s few tweaks to the tune should be high 11s on motor

    Thats a tough little 3rd gen already. What are you making now 400 whp?

    Calculators put it around 370 ish at the rear wheels that was my wifes 1 passes she didn't even launch off the convertor she just rolled off should go a few tenths faster once she is used to it.. but I bought her the blower to match her 91 z28 this one i want upgraded to the vr4 to support the 383

    I believe you would be close but it's going to make alot of heat. If you added meth to bring the iats down. The 36s are going to be close to being maxed out and your probably going to need about 300lph fuel or more to support it.
