    Fuel Line SIze

    Guys,
I plan on running 42lb injectors. I know the stock fuel lines are inadequte, but is itthe line size or just the fuel rail connections?
I have a set of stock fuel lines that have been modified to accept AN fittings, so I could run braided line from there to the rail.
    Whata think?

It all depends on your power level... If you are going to upgrade your fuel rails, it only does so much with stock lines (very little)... so if you are going to do them for functionality and not looks, then you really should upgrade your lines as well. Pro-M has a table setup that shows the different sizes that are required for any given power level along with everything else (MAF size, fuel pressure, fuel pump, ect.) that you would need to calculate it correctly. The chart is very good, but at the same time, there are just as many people out there that don't follow what should be done and come out just as good. What kind of power level are you dealing with? What exactly is your setup?

You might just end up with more power than that with your combo and that much boost :) Also, you might run out of injector... I think you might need some 50's with that power... it will probibly work better, but your tuner will be able to tell you that.

Are you seeing 17#'s of boost w/ the p600? I would imagine your gonna have a hard time seeing that much boost with ported TFS heads, and intake. Ive heard that Total Performance makes a good aftermarket fuel system, You could try a -8 feed, and a -6 return line. If you felt like you need more then a -10 feed line may support you through more hp. alot of guys user the Pro-m rails.
Ive also heard of guys using dual inline 255 pumps as well.

    RE

Im using a 88 302 balanced bottom end. Forged pistons. I doubt Im making 17 psi, but thats what its pulleyed for. I dont have it installed right now. I dont have a crank pulley for it. You think 42s might be too small? I really didnt want to get 50's, I dont think I would get more than 10MPG and this is my daily

I highly doubt that you are going to see that boost with a 600 that's setup to 17. You are going to probibly see more in the neighborhood of 14-15. At that power level and boost level... you better cross your fingers on the block and bottom end... also, you will need head studs or you are going to float your heads. If you have ported heads, intake, cam, blower... I am not sure that gas milage should be a concern of yours because of injector size... heads and cam have WAY more effect on gas milage than injectors do... a properly tuned car won't use any more gas than the next no matter what the injector size is (to an extent).

    re

    Good Advice,
With that said, What size of crank pulley should I get?
    Will a 8-rib 7.65 pulley work?
