    ???'s

Have a T trim on the car, was freshened up about 2 years ago from Vortech and has maybe 100 miles on it since then (sat in the closet until recently) The head unit started making noise the other day when it was idling. Still putting out the boost #'s though and I called Vortech to ask about the noise and they said it is normal to make noise and occasionally get louder. Is this true? Just doesn't sound right, or pay all that money for something that does that. Almost sounds like a grinding/knocking sound, or like it is not getting lubed properly and you can hear it over the exhaust of the car, which is pretty loud. Anyone else ever have this problem? Just wondering before blow my head unit up. The car is an 88 Stang. Thanks in advance.
