    5.0L economical harmonic balancer replacement......

The cheapest 50oz SFI balancer is??????
Ok I am going to be doing a head and intake install on my 89GT in january. I figured while I was in there I might as well change the probably worn out timing chain. If I'm gonna change the timing chain I might as well step up to an SFI balancer. You get the idea how that works.

My car is not a space shuttle it's just a play/commuter car so I don't want one plated in solid gold. If I was rolling in the money I would buy a romac but I'm not.

Is there an SFI unit out there for say around 125.00?

I have done some research on the NHRA SFI requirements and I don't think I would hit the 10.99 range ever in this car. So to make a long story even longer should I just run a stock replacement balancer from ford?

I don't think the Novi1k puts the same stress as other supers with the belt running in the stock location(leverage is less).

    Any opinions?

I do not think you will find anything for $125. PowerBond makes a great product but they are in the $179 range.
