    From the picture on Pro-M's website, it definitely doesn't look cast that's for sure, but it also doesn't look hand-welded either... stamped parts instead from what it looks like. The Univer Plus page is: http://www.pro-flow.com/Product%20pages/univer_plus.htm

    You can clearly see the difference. I would assume that the plus would still be a great meter, kind of like the Bullet line of Pro-M meters vs. the origional Pro-M meters (77mm)... the Bullet meters were just fine, just weren't as good in most cases as the real Pro-M meters and didn't make quite as much power.
