MSD Pro Billet Distributer

Why will this distributer not fully seat. Will I have to cut the shaft to shorten it or what? This is the proper distributer for the 351.

what kind of oil pump shaft are you using? Is it an ARP shaft?

Yes it is an ARP shaft. But problem is solved. I shorten the distributer shaft by 5/16 of an inch an it drop right into place.

That's what I was going to tell you. I had to do the same thing when I put mine in. It's the ARP shaft. Glad to see that you figured it out!!!
