    PCV blew out

I went to a car show yesterday. This was the second time out with the car since the Novi 2k install. At the same time I installed the Novi, I installed a Holley Systemax II intake manifold. Long story short: under boost, the PCV vavle jumps out of the lower intake manifold. What can be done to remedy this. And does anyone know where to get the little basket that sits under the PCV valve? I have a good feeling mine is on the freeway right now.

first of all you don't need the screen at all. 2nd. is the hose that goes into you're passenger side valve cover filler neck still connected to you're throttle body ? if it is thats the cause. plug it off at the t-body

Do you run a breather in your valve cover?

You can't run a breather in california...so the only thing I can use is the one that came with the novi.

blu50stang, do yourself a favor and get a breather. I just put my stock cap back on for emissions testing.

if you had to, couldnt you route that tube into the unperssurized intake tract (ie before the blower) to pass emmisions?

I am geeting ready to install a novi 1K. Do I need to unhook the tube from the valve cover to the throttle body? If so, where should I route it to?

you plug it off at the throttle body with a rubber plug and then when you install the kit it will tell you to run a 3/8 rubber hose from the valve cover filler neck port TO the brass fitting on the air filter cover that will come with the novi kit .

it really does not matter if you use it or not.......all the hose is for is for emmisions......it pulls crankcase fumes out......it kind of helps the PCV valve
