Will I be ok with 42's?

I am getting ready to start my Novi 2000 install. I got a great deal on brand new ford 42lb. injectors, and I could not pass up. Will I have drivability problems considering my engine is stock? Can I install the 42's with matching mass air meter and have the car run right. I know its alot of injector, but I just wanted to buy them once. I will be doing H/C/I when the funds are there.

    Thanks,
    Brandon

I would think that you wouldn't have a problem. I ran 36's on my car and it idled like a stocker. You may have to lower the fuel pressure slightly to make it not run so rich. Hope this helps.

I ran 42's, matching meter, with an e303 and stock computer and it was fine.

What is the next step up from the 42lb'ers?

I'm running 2- 42lb auxillaries, and they aren't cutting the cheese. Little too lean for my liking. I want to step up a size to see what the A/F looks like.

    next step up

i feel your next step up would be 50# but if you are gonna do more mods you might as well go bigger with like 55# all companies make different intervals.. check out low vs. high impedence for you depending on how much track time you see... hope this helps

Largest nonmodified I have seen is 55lb. that is high impedience{can be run on stock computer} over that you a low impedence injector driver.

I could never get 50's to run right on my stock motor with a novi2k.
