    which balancer you guys use?

    Guys,
I damage my balancer this weekend. I over-revved the motor by misstake. I had a TCI rattler but want to try something else. What do you recommend? Thanks!

We have been selling quite a few Innovators West balancers. They offer a blower snout upgrade which increases the thickness of the snout and has a corresponding seal to fit the 302/351 timing covers. You can check them out at www.innovatorswest.com

I run a Romac steel balancer, however you should probably look into what these guys are suggesting, a balancer that has a double keyway for your crank.
Are you running a cog setup?

The ATI is not the cheapest by any means ,I can't remember what I paid for it .It has a thicker hub and dual keyways which will mean some mod's are req to your crank for the second keyway. This is the one you want if your running a cog set-up otherwise you may end up like the pic's above

    Thanks guys!
Yes I have a cog setup. I spoke with procharger yesterday I was told that the Romac should work. I got an aluminum lightweight Romac today. When I stroke the motor I will get a double key balancer. I hope it lasts.

Be careful with the single key setup and twin key balancer; the woodroft key may become a problem. Now you could have the key made a little bigger then heat up the balancer and make it fit. Even then just watch it and be careful you have come to far to short cut now.
