I have been tempted to try a Novi1K on an SN95 94-95.

Who thinks this could be pulled off. I know they won't make a kit so I figured I might find a way around that.
This would be the plan.

Change timing cover and w pump to a fox set up.
Eliminate the AC, smog and use the fox Powersteering pump bracket.
Install Novi1k fox kit and then fab up a stubby Discharge tube for it.

Areas of concerne
Hood clearance



Any opinions always welcome.

The timing cover is not any different, Not sure about the waterpump. I think if your going to go to all of the trouble, I would install a Novi2000 and have a fast car instead of a quick car.:D

Well doug this is for my buddy daves 94 GT. We like the idea of a challange and when you can pic up a Novi1k for around 1400 buckys new nowadays it is temting. I don't know what to think about the front cover and pump after reading this.

Hmmmmm. I have a 95 motor in my 93. It is a used longblock that I pulled out of a rearended 95 with 23,000 miles. I changed the waterpump, intake, and the front brackets. Oh well, maybe I got a freak or something .BTW, I have seen used 2K kits for around $2000.00. I was just talking trash before, I hope I didn't offend you. If I did, I beg your forgiveness:( .

I'm just not getting good accurate info on the cover but it sounds like they are the same and the pump is different.

One possiblity would be for me to find a used 2k and put my 1k on dave's 94.

Thanks for the input Ian. It probably won't happen but I just wanted to gather some opinions.

I'm 99% sure it could be done.

Steve, does Paxton not make a Novi 2000 kit for a 94-95? I know a guy here that has one on a 95.

They do I believe make a 2k for them but not the 1K.

Seriously though a Novi 1k in an sn95 is an awesome idea!!!
