    Hey Doug.

    I ran a 10.33 at 136 on a set of ET streets at lovely Carlsbad Raceway.
    89 Coupe, Novi Blown 408 stuffed under a stock hood.
    9.79 @ 117 on 17 inch tires....coasting

    It only looks like a 13 second car! :evil:

    best times:

    12.50 @ 109 w/1.84 60' this was at 5 lbs boost.

    mods are
    edelbrock rpm heads
    rpm intake
    e cam
    long tubes
    power chamber
    flows 2 chamber
    tremec, centerforce
    alum driveshaft
    msd6al

    this was the first time at the track and could not find any traction with 8.5 slicks. went down to 10lbs air and still was roasting the tires in first to second. i love my novi. just now went to f150 pulley and i am seeing 8 lbs boost now. but the season is over. so wait till next year.
    plus i will be adding some more mods to the car...
    by the way this is the best site for novi information..
    331 stroker, msd btm, inlet pipe from 468lc, disc brakes for rear,
    air/fuel gauge, thats enough lol

    Yea, Well I'll drive over to your house right now and run ya!!! Oops, my mistake your car is not running again. Why don't you put a stock shortblock in it and maybe keep it tigether for more than 6 months.:D

    Hey now, my car ran for a good year before it exploded. Isn't there some rule about moderators picking on members?

    annnnnyway, plans are in the works to get the car back up and running.

    Wait till this weekend. I'm in the process of hooking up the nitrous kit(80 horse shot). I'll fill it up will C16. You better hope your in front of me when it blows, I don't want you to get hit by the pieces. Let me know if you need help stabbing the new motor, cause I'm going to need help stabbing mine.

    went 7.58@92 1/8 1.64 60ft with an SN 89 @8psi and 30# injectors,t-5 1/4 12.19@115 with s/n 89

    11.28@123.4 i don't use brakes they slow the car down sean!

    more cubes and more boost this spring.
    89 Coupe with parts stacked inside of it and about 30#'s of dust on it with no end in sight. :weird:





    Although I am collecting parts for a 12.5:1 393 :D
