Need info on how to make bravket to delete the smog.

I am getting ready to install a novi 1K. I don't have a smog pump. I saw some pics on here that shows a piece of angle iron connecting to the Alt. This eliminates the smog. Can anyone provide some specs on how to make this? Dimensions would help if possible.

Well If you have the new Novi-1000 "seperate belt drive" you would need to use a Sdeeda Smog Delete pulley kit. There is no other way around it. Now if you have the old setup you would need to wait for more replies..

If your using an F150 crank pulley like it says in your sig it must be the old kit.

Go to 468LC's photo post and check it out, there are pics there as well as on 5150lx's.

They both did it diff ways so you can get an idea of what to do.

5150's uses the old stock intake bracket i believe, its just bent a little to fit.

Here is the pic of 5150's bracket from the old stock intake brace.

I have seen both of their pics. I was hoping someone had the dimensions of 468LC's bracket.
Yes, I have the old Novi 1 setup.

cut a piece of cardboard and use it to measure it. also make sure to use a spacer tube in the bolt location to avoid bracket flex. i made mine like 468LC, i can measure it if you like, but it all depends where you cut the alt. u shaped bracket, where you drilled that for the bolt etc....

Ok you need a piece of 1x1" angle about 8.5 inches long. Hole spacing is about 7.25"

Take the paxton alt bracket and cut the short 90 bend off of it then drill a hole in the flat for a nut bolt and washer setup.

You should also use a piece of alt spacer tubing (can be had at any speedshop) to use in the upper bolt hole. In the pic it's the top hole where I have the red 7.25 line going to. This simulates the smog pump in the blower bracket to keep from distorting the blower bracket.

    Hope this helps.

OK> I see the 1x1" angle. But I don't see where you used the cut alt bracket that comes in the paxton kit.
I see the blue writing but I don't see where the paxton alt bracket goes.
I just need a little more help so I can get this thing running.

Lav is the chebbbie alt spacer tube or any kind of tubing that will take up the space where the smog pump used to go.
