Which one?

Was planning on the MM 6pt. Can I get something else that is 4 pt, and still be good if the car breaks 11.99? Any other brands or suggestions on cages would be appriciated. Thanks -Rob

No you need a minimum of 5pt (preferably 6pt) roll bar to run 11s. I would just check locally to see if there are any chassis shops that can build you a 6pt that will fit better around "you", so that the door bar passes between your should and elbow so that you pass tech. If going with a bolt-in, I would only go with one kit...a kit from Wolfe Racecraft roll bar. I've put in their 6pt kit in 3 cars and the fit was absolutely PERFECT, I was very suprised. The kit costs a tad more than other but well worth it.

NHRA rules: Roll bar mandatory in all cars running 11.00-11.99. Materials must be 1 3/4" ODx 118" mild steel or .083" 4130 chrome moly tubing. This also needs to be 6pt-8pt which is better especially for 11.99 or faster.
