I took the car to the track today (first time ever), and I suck. My best 60 ft was 2.3, my best e.t. was 13.7, and my mph was 113-116 everytime. The car doesn't hook for crap. Yes it was on street tires (24psi and a full tank), and I am planning on some DRs for sure, but I just don't know what I can do to better my 60ft, and with that mph, it should run low 12s, right? Help me out guys.
Dont feel too bad. I was 2.0 60' on my new bfg drag radials to 12.4 at only 120mph. I suck too :)
My car should be mid-low 11's at 125mph with the hp i am putting down. It all comes to driving, traction and keeping the boost up between shifts.

Get some DR's! I ran 255/50/16 bfg dr's got a 1.75 60' and ran 11.93@116.
With my new motor combo I got some 275/40/17" bfgs and they hook a little better on the street so I hope they will do the same at the track. Hope to run a low 11 high 10 on dr's.

What you need is some traction. Your mph is good for 11's easily.
