Dyno results, man the Novi 1k.......

Ok, guys. First of all, I was shocked at these results. This was done on the Dynojet tuned by Fordchip.com(tuning gods)
    Hp:488.1
    Tq:456.9

3 pulls and my mind was BLOWN! Chuck, you da man, sorry dude, pulley kicks butt! Steve, your predictions were a "little" off. Jerry and Pete from Fordchip said I have the nastiest 1K they have ever tuned, man that was cool to hear. 1st pull was a wash, 2nd pull was 477hp, 450tq, Jerry worked some magic and third pull netted what you see up top. Thanks to everyone on this board who has ever helped me out with stuff! I am so psyched!

Nice numbers. Have you run it at the track yet? I would predict high 10's at about 126 mph;) . Thats what mine ran with almost the identical rwhp and tq.

I knew I shouldnt have sold that damn pulley!!!!

Well congrats on the great numbers I will have to get my azz in gear to make up for selling it.

I am ordering a 2.75 blower pulley and a seven inch crank later. I hope that will get me atleast 12#'s

the boost guage was a solid 15lbs of boost. The car was really unbelievable! Chris was right when he said" The 8 inch pulley is like crack for the N1K" The car put up numbers like I was on drugs!

It's too bad you didn't dyno it, I would have like to know what yours would've done.

Very good #'s. be careful though. I'm ordering my 1k tomorrow and I make 330 rwhp now so if I go to Jerry and Pete for my tune I might get 500rwhp. Jerry knows his stuff. From what I see though Pete just cleans the ECM's for Jerry and kinda makes it seem Jerry wears the pants in that business they got:D

pete is very valuable, he does more than just clean EEC's! He was outside helping guys gapping plugs, doing plenty of other things that really help.. Jerry is the tuner, and without a doubt the best, but without Pete, he wouldn't be as successful....

    Speechless.

I think I may be trying a bigger pulley now sometime this year.

Go get those new times eh.

How hot was the motor by the third pull?

I know that probably hurt me from getting to 400. My intake and supercharger were so hot that you could not tough them. Mine was also on pump gas with only 6 or 7 * of timing.

It is nice to see neil that I now have a goal to shoot for.:)

the motor never got above 190. this is with 12 degrees initial, 104 sunoco. with unported heads, shorty headers, dude, i was so amazed! i kept blowing the wideband out of the dumped exhaust, so my airfuel on the dyno sheet looks ill after 4800. But Jerry assured me I was fine. He just stated to buy the GSS340 and get rid of my 190intank/BBK inline setup. Track times are coming!
