    I guess I took a little different approach..then again I'm cheap. :)

If you just go to the Ford dealership...or the local places if they carry Motorcraft stuff... get p/n EV-127-A. It's the valve off the '85 SVO Mustang I believe, which was made for boost!!! And it just so happens to be the exact dimesions of the stock part, just better built!

(yeah, my camera sucks and can't take a close-up worth crap.. sorry)

I made the mistake of going to Advance and O'Reilly first with no luck... their generic pieces of crap were no better than stock. You blow on the small end and air still comes through. The genuine Motorcraft part is amazing though. You can turn purple in the face and it won't let ANY air through. Not bad for 6 bucks from Ford.... (DON'T go $2 for generic... won't work!!)

Am I the only one that doesn't want to pay $20 big ones for an itty-bitty little check valve???? :)

it's 20 bucks man, not 200. i was going to run the ev127 and the check valve together. double the fun.

One thing i have learned, cheap usually isn't the way to go. In some cases it works, but most times it's like the coyote lighting rocket skates to catch roadrunner. KAABOOOMMMM.

well, its worth trying the cheaper alternatives to stuff, if all fails your back to where you started but not usually any worse so why not? it truely depends on the part your purchasing INMO. im going to get the SVO unit & give it shot, thanx ersunl.....
