will this 8.8 rear-end fit my mustang?

I am thinking of getting a mark 7 or 8 I forget 1992 rear. It has 355 posi, disc brakes "only thing is it has single sock not double, but I will convert that" I was wondering if it will bolt right up. I just have to re-run the lines to the brakes for the disc brakes.

Will I have a problem getting rims for it?

    Thanks

You will pretty much be limited to Salleen wheels or Drag wheels with a lot of offset. example and 8" wide wheel would require at least 6.5" bs to keep the tire under the fender lip. A 9" wheel would require a 7.5" bs and so on.

That is the same rear end that Sallen used in the fox bodies. If you have seen one in person you will notice that the rear wheels stick out way further than a normal fox. I believe there is an additional 1.25inches per side on the Mark 7 rear. It could be done but I would recommend finding a Turbo Coupe rear but even that is 3/4" wider per side.
