    Anyone had a blower rebuilt?

    Mine needs a rebuild. Im trying to get the warrenty to do it but I dont know if they will. Anyone know the price to do it? Thanks

    What makes you think they wouldn't fix it??

    I had mine rebuilt after I left a smal piece of metal in the power pipe(alright, it was a hose clamp ). It cost me about $700.00 dollars and it work fine after the rebuild. What is wrong with your blower?

    Dave told me he it's a bad bearing. I don't see why they wouldn't do it under warranty, as long as it's still under the warranty. Call up Paxton and find out if they'll do it...that's the best way to find out if they'll cover it under the warranty.

    Yea thanks Ross. I was asleep at the wheel on this thread. I was just curious of how much it would cost if it isnt covered.

    I phoned paxton about replacing my bearings and they said it would run around $385....I found the bearings on the internet and replaced them myself....well had a machinist replace them..

    update..... I just got it back, and it wasnt under warrenty. it was 349, and now it has a 1 year warrenty. Man, its quiet:)

    $349 isn't all that bad. I think Derek's was twice that. And it will get a little louder, but this time it should be just barely noticable.

    I had to pay overnight and saturday shipping, I havent seen the bill yet. I know it was 58 to ship it regular ground. Why was Dereks so expensive?

    No clue...his procharger only needed a seal. Atleast that's why he sent it in.

    The warrenty was expired. I thought It was 3 years, and it was only 1:(

    I believe he's pullied for 19 or 21lbs(smallest pulley you can get) but he's seeing 15
