well hers my solution. after stepping back and looking at what i am doing and where this project is going, i got out he old measureing tape and the sawzall and went to work.
    1. measured the rad. it will fit inside the core support.
    2. drilled holes in lower core support, and relocated the lower rad mounts.
    3. moved rad into lower mounts, and carefully trimmed core support on upper drivers side.
    4. turned passenger side upper rad mount over and around and redrilled holes to mount it.
    5. used safety wire and old rubber mount to secure drivers side top.
    6. went to wrecking yard and found a dual fan from a Turbo Stratus that with minor trimming of the mounts, fits great, works great and look almost factory.

i still have to wire it up to the factory plug, but i have 1/2 inch clearance. i can take pics if anybody is nterested. Ken

kobra 94, that's almost exactly what I had to do, except I have an 8 rib and was able to still use the stock fan. Post pictures if you can I'm interested in how it looks too.

It will work, and you will have about 1/2" of clearance when all is said and done. I made it work with a 408 stuffed into the SN95, not very fun to do, but not impossible.
