We are looking at installing a 2K on a 351 and were wondering if the alternative bracket would work.

Yes, it will work. The back bracket on a Paxton and a Vortech are identical. I should know, my back bracket was originally from a vortech!

you mean the main bracket right?
Yes, we are referring to the main back bracket. The front mounting brackets are completely different between a vortech and a paxton.
