The boost depending on engine mods is 5# base but can be increased to 8# with the change of the crank pulley to a 6.5 inch from a F150 pick up. The reason for changing the crank rather than the blower pulley is to keep the 3 year warranty and there is less belt slippage with the stock size blower pulley.

The max rating of the 1000 is 15#
