    Great forum!

I'm not a stanger but we are putting a YS Trim on an LS1 car right now. I am getting help from a guy from your community.

    kewl John.
keep us informed on the installation and results, I get calls all the time about LS1 and LT1 YS upgrades, but I have no hard facts to give.

Yeah... I was really considering putting a YS on my lt1 383.. Let me know what you think... Just for moderate boost.. 14psi...

I am seeing 10psi and I made around 600rwhp with it...

Just wondering.. How much HP will the GSS340 Hold up to???

I was going to couple this YS-trim with the vortech aftercooler.. good idea?? LMK...

I just want to increase the 3500-4500rpm power area... Any suggestions?

I would seriously consider going to a good fuel system with a weldon pump and regulator and -10 up to a Y block. deffinatly should aftercool it, not sure if you can fit an igloo under the hood, you could do a small spearco air to water mounted off to the side, I am not sure of the clearance of the 94s. we have done one on an 87 formula where we modified the right inner fender and it sat down inside the fender, we had spearco custom make it to our specs. here is the pics(altho it is a procharger(car has been 9.20/152 with traction issues), same consept but your pipes would be underneath) you can increase the lower end power with the YS by dropping the pulley size, this will bring the power on quicker with the YS.

    Cooler setup

We are installing a Weldon 2025 and a Weldon regulator. I am running -10 to the front, -10 crossover, and a -6 return.

I just ordered the 2.85 pulley from Vortech, it has a longer shank than the f-body stuff I hope it fits or we can machine it.

I got a custom 3 core air/air cooler since I did not want to play with air/water this year. My rational was if the Renegade guys can run 9.teens without any intercooler I can get some value from air/air.

I'd love to get some general cam specs from the stangers, and find out how high you are buzzing your motors...

I'm also curious as to how the Drag Radial cars differ from the Renegade cars as far as gearing and converter size go.

We made a little progress last week, removed the ABS and power steering and relocated the alternator to the passenger side.

Looks like we have Bob here, instead of him waxing the BUS, so what's the dealio on the drag radial class, what is a typical gear and converter combo for those guys?
