venting bypass valve to atmosphere question

ok my question is, I have tried venting to the atmosphere but it sounds like crap when you are cruising along and it just stays open, sounds almost like an exhaust leak. I know the ATi bypass valves are adjustable, but can they be adjusted just enough to stay mostly closed while cruising , so it doesnt sound like total crap when your just cruising at a steady speed? also I was thinking of converting to the HKS ssqv blow off valve, take a look at it a www.hksusa.com and tell me if you think the universal kit would work, this thing looks like it would work great ona procharger setup with its primary and secondary valves, and it would sound nice too.

There should be a little hex head screw on the opposiste side of it. Play around with that it will delay or speed up the valve opening. If it is anything like the kit on my truck.
