    I bought a house!!!!!

After looking at 100's of homes on the 'net' and about 25 in person with my realtor, I finally found something that I liked. We looked at it on Sunday (June 29th) and I bid on it Monday (June 30th). It's a quaint little two story, two bedroom home that's situated on a corner lot. The lot is basically 100'x100'. Everything was re-modeled over that past two years, roof replaced in 2002, updated electric, etc.

Since this is my first home, I'm completely psyched! I hope to have pictures after this weekend. You know what the best part about this experience is? My intrest rate for my mortgage is 4.75% . That's a 30yr. fixed mortgage. I'm scheduling the home, pest, and radon inspections for early next week. After the inspections, we can close ASAP. I just thought I'd share my joy with my fellow Novipower members!

I hope to have pics after the holiday weekend but I can't promise anything.

Oh yea...The area that the home is located in has excellent schools and pretty low taxes.

Steve, there's only a one car detached garage...for now ;)

A few years down the line when my finances recover a bit, I'll probably build a nice 25x25 garage that I can tinker around in.
