    wiring and emissions components ?

I just finished putting on the injectors, but there are two groups of wires, one goes to the tps, and I am not sure where the other one goes? andy ideas, I have looked everywhere, and see nothing, the guy before me removed all the emissions stuff, could that be part of it? Also, I have to run the car through emissions, can I put a catted pipe on there just for emissions testing, will it hurt the cats any? My novi will be here this coming week, do I need the air pump back on the car for everything to work, it is the revised version,
Thanks in advance, I appreciate all the help

No you will NOT hurt any cats without the smog pump.

My car passes emissions without cats but we have no visual here.

    Hey,
I took some pictures of my TB/TPS area. I'm not sure of the wire you're talking about, but maybe these pics can help:

thanks, but on my 89, i have the plastic conduit,sp., and 2 groups of wires come out of it, one will plug into the tps, like yours does, but not sure where the other one goes? Hard to see in pics. If you could do me a huge favor, grab the wires that plug into the tps connector, and see if you have another group of wires with a plug going somewhere, I would really appreciate it
    Thanks, Greg
    ps. nice ride thanks again

Do you still have the EGR equipment? If not then the extra plug by the TPS connector is the one that normally goes to the EGR.
