I was making 15lbs of boost with my D1-SC and the temps coming out of the blower were about 260 degrees and the temps coming out of the intercooler were only 115 degrees So my temps were similar to yours until the air went thru the intercooler.

Cruising down the highway a couple of weeks ago I was seeing 160 degrees right after the blower outlet and 70 degrees after the intercooler. This was at around 60-65 MPH and I would estimate the ambient temperature at 65 degrees (early morning). To answer your question more specifically, 250 degrees sounds about right. Time for an intercooler?
