    need help

I have my s trim with an after cooler, I have some autolite stock heat range plugs, my car idles rough, i dropped the gap down to .35, I don't have an msd on my car, should I go down a step colder and can anyone recomend what gap and heat range to use,i am going to pu the msd 6al on my car in the next day on the car. I am running about 10-11psi, It is a realitively stock motor 302 with stock heads, and b cam, 1.72 roller rockers and saleen/vortech shootout intake, I also have 30psi injectors with an fmu, I think that i am over injected wanted to also get some opinions on that. any help would be great.

Autolite 3923s (2 ranges cooler then stock), I'd look at a different cam, and definitly get a dyno tune/chip.

Cool thanks, But if i am getting a dyno tune chip all they will do is tune down the injector pulse and make it seem smaller, so i should go down to a smaller injector.

They do alot more then just air/fuel. They can help idle, tip in timing, etc. I got rid of the FMU, and went with 42s and a chip. Some of the best money spent was on the dyno and chip. JMO though. Your gap looks good BTW, and definitly get the MSD or some amplifier, mine was blowing the spark out at 5k on the dyno, but I have since installed the 6AL, and my ignition woes are over. Now to get back to the dyno for a final #s run.

THey are totally stock never been taken off the car and no port work. That is why i don't think i should have a custom chip done to my car. I am pretty sure with 30psi injectors on the car I am running way to rich it stinks (phew), I just don't want to get rid of this i had this with my procharger and my other car and it was way to lean. I will put heads but for now cash in my pocket says stock heads for you.

If your absolutely not planning on a chip, I would get some sort of boost retard, and I still have mine in the garage, but man you WILL gain alot of power from a dyno tune/chip.

I don't think with stock heads it is going to make the money on the dyno worth it, i will spend at least 75-150 an hour for tuning and all places take 3hrs on blower cars, Not what it needs but that is how long they take to milk you, i can do that or save that 300-500 and buy aftermarket heads and then do a chip and really kick some ***.

Your money, your car, just giving my opinion thats all, BTW mine took less then 1 hour to do. 250 for the Autologic chip, 100 an hour on the dyno.

I do apreciate the help but, for 350. I can save up an extra 350 and buy some used edelbrock performer heads, or dart sr's. I am not poor but i am a cheap *** LOL>. I do take your opinions seriously.
