Novi 2000 Steeda Tune Dyno Results

    Hey guys --

I have a Novi 2000 Steeda Tune kit on my 2001 GT, and thought you might be interested in the results.

The kit is non-intercooled, and pushing 10psi with a Reichard Racing 3.6" (stock size) pulley and the intake restrictor removed. The only other performance mods I have are a Bassani X-pipe with cats and a Bassani catback.

The car made 378rwhp / 373rwtq SAE corrected on a Dynojet. The AF ratio was solid at 11.8 across the board, until after 5500rpm, when the Steeda tune goes into "safe mode" and gets really rich (like 10.0:1). There is no hint of detonation at all, even in the 95-100 degree Georgia heat. The car was still making power at 6000rpm when we shut down, but there's no way with the Steeda tune to increase the rev limit.

    I'm a powerpipe and 3.5" pulley change away from 400rwhp... ;)

I'll post the dyno sheet if I get a chance.

Thanks, I'm pretty happy with the numbers I got. After the smaller pulley & powerpipe, I think I might go with the SMC water injection kit... :)

Great numbers! I was following your thread on stangnet.

What about having Tim tune (lean out) the rich condition after 5500 rpm with the MAFterburner?
