    331 or 347?

I'll most likely be putting in a new shortblock, probably a CHP built stroker, just wanted to see what you guys thought, pros/cons etc. The 347 is actually cheaper. Thanks -Rob

I went with a 331. I called Keith Craft and many others and told them I wanted a street car with 15 psi of boost. And a goal of 600rwhp. They told me the 331 was a better street motor for supercharged car. I'm sure someone will disagree but all the shops I called said 331.

people say that the 331 is the way to go all the time, but most of the time they have no experiance with the 347's.

    i would personally go with the 347 (5.4rod 3.4crank)

the 347 has less engine life bc the bigger stroker causes more wear and tear...its even on CHPs site i think
