    New short block + boost = tire riping fun

    just put a good 300 miles on the new short block. installed my boost gauge on my way to work this morring getting on the highway i got on it for the frist time in 2nd gear at 4000 rpm the tires broke lose , shifted to 3rd around 4000 rpm i felt it brake lose again seems i have a new problem when i get into boost my nittos dr have no chance.never got the car over 4500 rpm and man does that thing fly. i did see 4 psi at 4500 is this right? i also see 1 pis at 3,000 rpm:D can't waite to get to a dyno and see if i cant put down 450-500 rwhp with a vorcech 8" crank pulley

    Damn man that was quick!! Maybe you need to come on down to TX :D Mines been apart for nearly a year now.

    Thats why i had d.s.s. build my short block ? 3 days later it was here, that day the heads came off and the old block was out and the new one was in. in Total the car was down for 3 days

    Cool. I have a similiar combo and my 1k is going on tomorrow. I'll keep all of you guys posted. Would love to see 10's with stock pully on the car:D
