    Pics of procharged motor...

The car is almost finished, just have to tie up a few loose ends (intake spacer, trans cooler lines, yada yada) and finish some wiring... Everything seems to fit pretty good with the D1. We had to notch the stock fan shroud because the crank pulley was hitting it (its an 8 rib pulley), so I imagine the 10 and 12 rib pullies require alot of cutting.

The powersteering relocation kit was pretty tricky, the spacers included with the kit were nowhere near long enough, so we had to improvise and shim it out almost 1". Not a big deal, but something to note.

    Here are some pics:

That looks really nice! Glad to see it's almost done! Looks like everything fits really well and clean. You definitely took your time with that install that's for sure.

Looks good...I'm glad yours fit in the car.

Have you fired it up yet? I was kind of disappointed because I can't hear the blower at all on my car. Going down the road if I listened really hard I could sort of make it out, but not like I was expecting. Maybe my car is a little louder than I thought. ; )

i haven't gotten on mine yet, waiting on the dyno, but i can hear my D1SC at an idle and going down the road. and i have side exit exhaust with dynomax ultrflows. and it is deffinately noticed by anyone in the area, i have actually avoided some races just off intimidation, hehehehehe. little do they know that without my MSD box installed the spark blows out at 3000, i can't race if i wanted to.
I can't hear you scream over my D1SC!!!!!!!!!

Tip for ya'... what are your plugs gapped at? You shouldn't have spark blow out even with the stock ignition installed if you have the right plugs and have them gapped at .025 - .030. Try that out and see what happens... I am waiting to get mine in next week for my tune, I am so excited that I can't see streight even though I am afraid that something else is going to go wrong since everything else has so far this year. Anyway, let us know what happens.

plugs are gapped at 30. i am assuming that it is blowing out the spark, i just know that the one time that i got on it at higher rpm it stuttered and popped and almost died. ken

Did you try gapping them closer to .025? It seems small, but there are many people who have great success with that gap. Just something to try.
