    fuel pump question

    Hey guys, I figured out my short, but I have one more question, on the return side in the tank, I remember there being a rubber fitting on the end that lets gas in but not out, this pump never had one, do I really need one?

    I do not see a reason why it would be 100% needed but there must be a reason for it. If I were in your position I would replace it just in case it is important.
