    600rwhp possible?

I am building a motor and was wondering if I can get 600rwhp or pretty close. A4 block with a 331 forged stroker kit and main girdle. Victor-jr heads port matched for the holley systemax, custom blower cam but dont know who to get to grind it, 42lbers, Pro-M 80mm, 70mm tb, AFM Power pipe, 255 intank and in line pumps, Msd 6AL, 1 5/8 long tubes, custom chip, and its going in a 5 speed. My power adder will be the T-trim with about 12-14psi. I want the car to trap around 135 in the quarter. Any other suggestions or changes would be greatly appreciated.

bigger fuel system instead of the stock rails. they can't support that much hp. you might think about some 50lbers instead of the 42. or get a custom chip or tweecer rt to tune it right.

why r u going to put a stud girdle on the a 4 block? you might look into a aeromotive fuel system.

at the present time, i am running 331 stroker kit, r 302, edelbrock heads, rpm intake, custom crane cam, long tubes, power chamber and gears, strange axles, t trim also.
runs very good. but have not had it dyno'd yet. went to dyno and the dyno broke on my two runs and only gave us air/fuel ration.
i wish i had put 50's in it now.

    good luck.

I may go with 50lbs. I was thinking about a main girdle not stud but it prob wouldnt do any good bc that block wont crack. Is your blower load. I want a loud one. How much power are you expecting and boost? Was you lean with 42lbs?

they dont make a girdel for a4 block ,its a 4 bolt main ,it will wistand most power levels ie 1200 hp aud up if you destroy one
you have major problems. for money i would go with dart block
a4 is 1500.oo plus 1200 machine work ,dart is 2000 clean it up
asembly and go,injectorsi sugest at least 50's but i would go to
fast system ,pms or something on tunning ,runing areomotive fuel
system and 83's it sounds like over kill but yo cant do it with stock rails and 255 in tank and trex pump if you are going 600 hp
you are in the non skimp relm 450-500 is skimp relm better to be safe than blown up and kicking your self. as soon go 600hp you
will want more and you wount be sorry you did it .

    i finally went to the dyno. 331/ t trim/ 12lbs/42lbers/75 maf/70tb/edelbrock rpm heads/typhoon intake/ long tubes.

went 558 to rear wheels and i let off at 5750 rpm. i wanted to take it to 6500 but i sprung a leak from the copper gaskets.

dont want to take any chances now, waiting for ffw in ennis this month.

cant wait to launch and see what she does.

i was running a 7 inch crank and 2.75 pulley. now i am running cogs
72 crank and 32 blower. it has seen 15 lbs but there is more. i just get the tires to stop spinning..
and when the cogs are wound up it sounds just like a turbo charger whining.

it is awesome. have to install aftercooler and a chip and see what dyno does now.

cant wait. will be attending wfc7 in st louis. look me up

sweet! I fully expect to make 600ish @ the tires with my setup. It will be closer to the fall before I set it on kill though.
89 Coupe with parts stacked inside of it and about 30#'s of dust on it with no end in sight. :weird:

    Although I am collecting parts for a 12.5:1 393 :D
