    Sean "Novi DIDDY",

made up the box steel bracket, still need to get the 4" and 2" allen bolts.. I still don't like the top bolt, its threading in, but there is major tension on it....I think once it's in there, it'll be fine, but i have to get the right allen bolt to really try it out. with the bracket in there semi tightly- I ran a belt round the system and it looks very nice, good alignment and such. Top bolt is just what's giving me fits, overreacting am I?

I just made a parts run for the allen bolts. I found the 1.5" ( which fits good) bolt in stainless at Home Depot but they didn't have anything longer than 3", so I'll have to search around for the 4" one. If you locate one let me know where you got it.

i got the bolts, but they didn't have stainless, only zinc. They should hold up fine i would imagine. Still need to get a new belt, maybe tomorrow.. now i need a way to mount my coil... maybe make up a bracket to mount to the cylinder head....

Get that damn thing on so I can market my bracket to March. I need a test car, will split profits 50/50 with ya, lol. Put the coil back on the apron (term?), that's where mine is. Honestly though, If this works then I will probably send March an e-mail to descibe the issue we have encountered & maybe they will eventually too a new piece that is S/C specific.

Sorry Neil no spare. Time for you to hit the bone yards, that coil bracket should be fairly easy to locate.

I'm pretty sure you could souce the bracket from nearly any V8 car, I can't see Ford making a dozen different types of coils and even more different mounting brackets. They may have but it would economically make sense to use the same parts for all V8 equipped vehicles.

Neil, why not use a standard rotation water pump and skip all those other shinannigans?
