The speedo must be recalibrated. Many shops can do this. I know brothersperformance.com has a service like that if you want online processing.
You may want to keep an eye out on the Corral for an instrument cluster. Just be sure that you get the appropriate one for your car. There is a major difference between the cluster on an air-bag equipped & non-airbage equipped stang.
