anyone having belt slip issues check out these pullies...

    http://www.reichardracing.com/Pulleys.htm

also if your using the standard 8 rib 3.33" s/c and the 6.87" pullies i have found that the goodyear gatorback 54.5" belt out performs the dayco and gates belts.

It may depend more on your specific application, But I am paying $200 for the blower pulley only.

    akatherazor4,

Your belt is slipping that bad that you would spend $200 for a pulley? I'd like to see some better pic's of it. Let us know how it works out.

Well I am also taking belt wear into consideration as well. From the information I recieved it seems the pulley has also incresed belt life by a large margin.

I was told that the guys racing in Renegade class were using these pulleys. Before they were getting about 3 passes from a belt, Now with the pulley they get multiple races.

So I am really interested not only in preventing my belt from slipping, But extending my belt life as well. On the 2001 Cobra's you need to remove the head unit (Loosen it) in order to replace the belt. I'm not interested in doing that on the side of the highway.

Thats a cool Idea. The slots perpendicular to rim must grip the belt to reduce slipage. I have had little prob. w/ sliping. I use a huge pry bar and pipe to tighten belt. I know this is not recommended but I have seen lots of my friends run sucessfully with no bearing failure after a few years of running. I routinely change my belt 1X per season unless it looks really worn.

Well this is what I have been told, I have not seen it myself so the information is second hand. It does come from a reliable source though. Yes $200 is just for the blower pulley.:D
