I'm about to buy a kit from this dude who says it's an S Trim but has no original paper work on it or anything. It says V-1, but as far as I know, didn't they make A Trims that say V-1 on it? The numbers on the head unit are carb EOD-213-1 and the #s below the V-1: 00402. Do I have to call Vortech to find this out? Or does the style of the impellar show the difference?
One easy way to tell with a simple visual check is the impeller. A-Trims have straight blades and the S-Trim has the more traditional curved blades like this one:
