Guys....I am really excited about my new project. I should have pics soon. I went to Virginia (about 4 1/2 hours each way) to buy a '84 Ranger. It's already has a 302 conversion, C5 and a 9 inch rear. It also already has a fuel cell. We intend to make most of the East Coast NMRA meets next year.
We are replacing the motor and trans. We are buiding a 347 and putting in a C4 (using Steve's 468LC torque converter) and I am taking my NOVI 1K and F150 pulley off my stang to put on the truck.
The truck is not that pretty right now but it will get Welds, Boss 429 style hood scoop, racing buckets, new dash pad, NHRA legal cage, and a new paint job. A nice winter project. Progress pics to come.
