OK I have let you guys suffer with this long enough!

If a small idler is bolted to the water pump on the top right corner it will allow you to run the clean look of nothing on the drivers side of the engine and still use your reverse rotation water pump.

I did not think of this my self I got the idea from Ian's ProCharger kit.

Here are the pics of how it works.

Hey Chuck, I'll give ya $20 if ya steal that idler off Ian's car when he's not looking. Considering that it doesn't run, he won't notice for a while :D

For the $20 I will steal it for myself.

I think ProCharger wants $130 for that piece.

Maybe we could get a group purchase.

Ian wanna chime in here please.

Thats the same idea i had for the alt......then you just use the alt bracket for all the tension you want......i took my car for a spin tonite and the belt is riding fine. Btw..i love the 8" crank!!! if i had the old style i'd like ths setup even more. I'll try and get some better pics. I kinda miss the power steering though!
89 Coupe with parts stacked inside of it and about 30#'s of dust on it with no end in sight. :weird:

    Although I am collecting parts for a 12.5:1 393 :D

    Sean,

When was the last time you heard of a 5.0 splitting the block with a measly 14psi of boost.:D

14#'s, hell I can get that outta my piss-ant Novi 1000 and at a fraction of the cost :D

I recently had a buddy of mine split his from the main to the cam bearing on nearly every main. He was running a 347 and was hitting it with a measly 150 shot thru his fogger system. Only sprayed the new motor 1x at the track and had maybe a dozen n/a'd passes and less than 200 street miles on a brand new build-up. This is what prompted me to spend the $$$ on a Dart block.

You guys be nice now! Sean the NOVI 1K is nice, but you know you want a ProCharger :p I agree 100% with the block I have plans, but not until next yeaR <- Hint... Ohh and Sean id whip your azz like a Texas tornado - get a real blower and get on with your life :p

ProCharger does sell the braket seperate, but yes it is very expensive. I personally think it the cleanest way to delete the PS and A/C.

130 for that? i like sean's idea of mounting the march pulley up on the novi bracket. stand. rotation pump will be needed, probably can run the same pulley on the waterpump? now if i sell the march bracket, the other march bracket, i could buy the procharger bracket...... WTF didn't i just buy a D1SC when i had the chance? Cuz it cost's too much and i made just as much power with a 1K!!! Cmon Ian, you know you miss the "baby blower". Wanna race? Your car has no tranny, mine throws belts. should be interesting---- no?

This will be a good depate :D

So you think that 14lbs on the NOVI 1K would make just as much power as 14lbs on the D1SC?? I say the D1SC will make lots more, let the fighting begin :p

My trans will be back fully loaded for the weekend..we can race then :D
