anyone run a novi 2K with no chip???

what fp, timing etc are you at with the stock pulleys??? do you have to run a fmu????

Here's my next blower setup, and supporting parts.

novi 2000 real street kit (stock pullies w/ a power pipe)
36# or 42# injectors
pro-m 80mm shortie
aeromotive or weldon fpr
fuel rails?
gss340 lph intank
msd 6btm with timing set at 20 degrees and the spout out.
no chip.

i have a novi 200
42# inj pro-m 80mm
255 intank and 255 inline
msd btm
no chip
timing at 10 degrees
and i made 466hp with no tuning

ok, i took the chip out, put the timing at 6 with the spout out....................and it works great!!!! its feels like another 50 hp!! you would think paying all that money for a chip and it would run better with it.
now i just have to figure out how to get around the factory 6250 rev limiter.

Yet another person converted to the miracles of spout out timing. Now feel free to play away. I suggest just having your chip reburnt to turn things off like the rev limit, and smog or whatever. :)
