    Novi 2000 w/o cooler, Boost ?

    Hey guys,
I just got a Novi 2k for my '99 cobra. Although not new to supercharging mustangs, I have a question. I've heard that the 2k makes a lot of heat (discharge temps) , even at low boost levels. My question is , before I buy my A/A cooler , Can I get away with 8-10 psi with a good tune for now ? I've seen a bunch a 5.0 cars doing it all day, but have also talked to a few guys that have had probs.
    Thanks
    Brad

You've heard wrong! The 2k has one of the lowest disharge temps in it's class. The air to air would make more power as the 2000 has no problems with effiency, and you could run more timing. With the right fuel/ignition system you'll have no problem running 10lbs non-intercooled. Either way You'll have make sure you got the wheels pointed straight on that 4-cam!
89 Coupe with parts stacked inside of it and about 30#'s of dust on it with no end in sight. :weird:

    Although I am collecting parts for a 12.5:1 393 :D
