Motor specs are in my sig. running 26* timing locked with the spout out, fuel at 45 psi with boost sensitive regulator so 55 psi at 10#'s of boost.

    Last weekend I went 11.60@122.052 1.738 60ft backed up with a 11.737@122.744 with a 1.839 60ft.

    Stock T5 with FMS clutch.

    Stock rear with 3.55 gears

Stock front struts and Lakewood 50/50 rears and BBK lowering springs.

Wieght would be what ever a stock no option coupe would be I havent really removed anything from it, except the front swaybar to help traction, I get no wieght transfer with the lowering springs.

    See sig.

Car has enough mile an hour to do a 10.99 but I think low 11s are in order with a fresh properly working trans.

Work done to my car since I got it is in my sig...

I run 14* timing, 45psi fp, and 7psi of boost with a custom chip.
This run is with 26x10.5 ET Street's

    60ft- 1.954
    1/8 - 8.209
    1/4 - 12.671
    MPH: 110.52

That was with a really bad slipping clutch... I pulled it apart and the flywheel had grooves, and so did the pressure plate. Also a 4" Piece of the clutch was missing. So now I am redoing the whole trans, trans setup. I'm going with Spec clutch and a stock replacement flywheel, and a tremec 3550 TKO

I really hope to see the 11's by Christmas :). I think I will when I fix this problem, but if not well than it's time for the good old 8" pulley

Mikeymustang.....man your track times and dyno #'s are sick. We have similar combo except your 306 and slightly better heads, and I'm making just shy of 400. What's your secret?

New Smokin times for the Mighty 1000!

We had an ideal day for weather @ smackdown today. The track was hookin and my car ran great!
First pass right off the trailer no changes
    1.771 60ft spun a lil
    11.286
    121.88 mph
    275/60/15 DR BFG's

    yup----i was stoked!

For the next four hours i played with tire pressure's, took the muffs off and added race gas. Car showed a consistent .5mph increase with race gas and nothing for taking the mufflers off but boy it sure sounded cool! 3 crappy passes(nothing slower than 11.99) Next I went from the Dr's i just mentioned to 26 x 10.5 et drags. And heres when i really got happy.

    18 psi in tires
    1.81 60ft
    11.386
    123.46

spun a lil so i went to 16 psi
    HOOK
    1.71 60 ft
    11.338
    122.46
    lil warm in staging lanes

    Big hook!
    1.675 60ft
    11.285
    122.73

:D AND NO PARTS FAILURE! although it got a healthy oil bath from the breather coming out......ill fitting K-n-N crap!:bonk:
89 Coupe with parts stacked inside of it and about 30#'s of dust on it with no end in sight. :weird:
