Hey guys, i was working on my f150 the other day and realized it has an 8 rib serpentine setup. Then it got me thinking......I doubt it is even worth while to do at this point, but it sounded like a good idea....

i fabbed up the extra bracket for the march pulley and it works excellent, the bracket is strong and doesn't move. i made a L bracket and attached it to a stud i put in the lower intake front mounting hole. had to get a longer bolt to attach the bracket to the back of the march one, going through the pulley. the march doesn't move at all now, really sturdy... all in all, it came out great.. too bad i don't have any way to flog it now, cuz the car is dead(clutch gone) and i am in the process of finding a nice coupe to start the swap on. hope i can get something soon.

If belt slip was an issue than switching pullies over from a F-150 donor may be a cost-effective alternative, especially if you want to run a smaller blower pulley.

it was an idea, i figured i would throw it out there....i don't have belt slip really, but 2 extra ribs would be nice for a stout custom piece.

I need a new car before i can go 10's! The vert is going up for sale minus motor and a few other things. I really want a coupe, and the vert has served me well for the last 7 yrs.... So when i finally get the coupe, i should be in the 10's running it through a c4 auto.

what the heck f-150 are you looking at with an 8-rib? I got a 94 and it's a 6 rib. Same truck I swapped out crank pulleys with.

Not much on the oven Chris! I am looking for a notch at the moment, but have had little sucess. I want a roller/setup race car, and have yet to find anything even worthwhile. when i get the notch, the vert is history and the real fun begins!
