    Formal intro...my 2000 is here!!

All right guys! My Novi 2k serial # 07500 is in my possession :) It's the winter project this year on the heels of the engine from last year. I plan on upgrading to SN95 fuel rails, 47.7# injecors, and adding a Walbro 255 lph inline pump. What else am I overlooking here?

Who is not running a smog pump? Also, is anyone running a blow through MAF with this? If so, what did you do about the bypass?

    Thanks!

    Jonathan

They supposedly flow 40% more fuel...so should be good to 700 hp. Worth a shot, it'd be cheap insurance for you.

Sorry to jump in on yout thread like this. But what is a blow through MAF anyway?Do you need a different MAF or can you use your old one?And also i heard if you do that that it fixes the idle problem that some superchargers have without a by pass valve. Also if you do that. Can you use a blow off valve instead of a by pass valve? It's all alittle confusing for me.

Blow through MAF means the MAF comes after the blower, so it is actually pressurized air going through it. This eliminates a huge restriction on the suction side of the blower, and should result in more boost. You would be able to reuse your MAF, but some work better than others in this configuration. The Pro-M Univer's are probably the best, specifically the Plus model. It has 2 circles of sampling holes which average the signal across them, eliminating idle and air metering problems found in other cheaper mass air's. A bypass valve is basically the same as a blowoff, it just recycles the pressurized air to in front of the blower when you're not running the car wide open, so it doesn't surge back into the blower and damage the compressor.

Must be a revised version, this one is professionally binded and has lots of pages to take notes on. Seems very nice to me...

If nobody has told you yet. Throw that FMU in the trash. You will not need it and the car will run much better without it.

The instuctions are next to useless and the fmu is even worse. Everything else is top notch. I love the 8 rib and the tensioner setup.

FMU and fuel pump are for sale already. I have my own plans for the fuel system (have a GSS340, getting a 255 inline, 47.7# injectors, and have an adjustable reg already also)...

Would imagine you could get the new manual from Paxton directly. Call their tech line.
