    2 belt novi 1k users

    OK I know the single belts novi's can get 15#'s of boost but what is the most you've heard of with the 2 belt style.

    Mine will be running tomorrow and it made 330rwhp n/a. Just wondering what stock pulley and powerpipe might gain as far as boost? Thanks

    If you have H/C/I you will prob lose a # or 2 of boost, but your power pipe might make up for it, I would say 6#'s for sure.

    You should be well over 400 at the wheels I would think.

    It's the same head unit, so if you used the same size pulleys on the new one, you will reach the same boost.
    Most guys haven't gotten that high with the boost cause it voids their warrenty.

    Supposedly a calulator on the internet say's 465 rwhp which is what another buddy got with same hp as me and a 6# powerdyne. So noone really have tried to see what boost they can make? Oh I'm also spinning to 6k so would boost go up more or stay same

    I got my Novi 1000 last week. I am only seeing 4-5psi. I do like the blower though. Its extremely quiet. In fact, its alot quieter than my old GSS. Little disappointed in the the low end torque. I plan on getting an over/under pulley soon. So that should help.

    I see 10#'s w/ my 2 belt 1k (3.25" pulley). Once I get my 42# injectors and the 3" pulley on, I'm sure it'll be good for 12-14#'s.

    how many pulley changes are their for the novi 1k 2nd gen? also what does it cost to rebuild one when it goes down worst case?????

    I am seeing 8psi. I have a porwer Pipe, both pulley's that came with the kit.

    Guys with 8" crank pulley's are seeing 10-12 I think..

    i see 10lbs with a morpheus pipe,76 C&L, and the vortech renegade crank pulley. BTW the 8" crank greatly enhances lower engine speed...thats right more tire smoke.

    you guys are seeing around 10-12 with the 8"er, and Powerpipe? i see 7-8 psi with just my power pipe, i didnt notice any loss in #s with my set up, i thought that i would lose some #s with my TFs and holley but i didnt.

    i don't know why you shouldn't. Since you run a tremec it might even be a little highr number than my C4. Did you put on the pulley yet? I'd like to have a still photo of my face when i put it on, and smoked my DR's forever it seemed like.

    no, no pulley yet, lack of funds :( im still in the process of getting the pin sytle 42s, reg, do you run the pin style or disk? i left about a 50 foot patch of rubber with my nittos by taping the gas in 1st from a roll then hitting 2nd streching out onto the road, IT WAS CRAZY! my buddy and i did a lil test to see how much harder i pull now on his SS and it was ugly. lol if ya want ill send ya it cause i have it on video from his car. its cool. let me know.

    yeah man send away. I run the rail style accufab reg. I never ran the 8" pulley with a 5 speed but i bet that will be a wicked ride!
