What Kind of pulley arrangement would you need on the revised 1K to see 8-10 psi on a stock motor

8" crank and a power pipe will put you to 10 maybe a bit more

Yup. Don't forget the powerpipe. Even with stock pullies and a powerpipe i seen 7psi with ported TW's and a Holley 2 intake. I saw a solid 10 with the 8" renegade crank. Did you decide on a Novi 1000 then?

Although I am collecting parts for a 12.5:1 393 :D
There are several reasons why I like the Novi not the least of which is I'll have enough $ left over for a pair of DR's :DOriginally Posted by regattacoupe
Honestly I was looking for a blower capable of 400hp @ the wheels and the 1k will give me that with ease!
I have seen Chucks car ,hell I've driven that car so I know what his was capable of and you(Regatta)and Frank W have 10 sec capable cars.
Throw in the Novi's great looks and nice sound and it's a lock I have made my choice lol.
So do you think I could see 8psi with just the power pipe?
I seen 8lbs with the 8" crank only...(heads and intake)Originally Posted by Hooligan
I don't know for sure but I don't think you'd see a full 8lbs with just the power pipe maybe around 7lbs

You'd be really really close with a stock motor. It's always a guess though. I can only tell you what i see @ my altitude, weather, engine effiency, ect.
yeah with a good pipe like the anderson i bet you'd bee 8 psi. Chuck and Ian will get you straight on the fuel and spark to make it work.
