    blow0ff valve problems?

    anybody having troubles with their blowoff valves not working right? i have the 2.80 reichard racing pulley and still only seeing 11lbs of boost.....please help lol
    it's slow

    Are you positive that it is your BOV and not belt slip? It sounds to me like you hit a belt slip wall... especially with a smaller pulley.

    yep, mine is the standard valve that came with my D1SC, and it is an absolute piece of garbage. we watched it on the dyno and it didn't seal to gain boost. toss it and get a Vortech Mondo. now i got more boost than i can use. Ken

    Which "standard" BOV are you guys talking about? Is it the aluminum tube style with the butterfly in it? I have no problems seeing 13+ with mine. I honestly don't think I would get any more boost due to leakage if I switched either.

    Don, I jsut have the one that comes standard with the P1SC kit.

    I beleive they changed it some time ago though... some P1SC kits come with the black plastic Bosch valve, others come with the aluminum tube with butterfly valve style one, that is why I am asking.
